The Calmatech saddle pad was developed as a custom solution for a horse that suffered severe burns in a barn fire and remained very sensitive.
Through diligent research into medical materials, we created a saddle pad with medical fleece. This fabric is used in hospitals to treat bed sores and skin irritations.
Our pad not only effectively solved the issue but the horse started competing again.
