I purchased the Calmatech Cross-Country Saddle Pad as my first ever Ecogold Saddle Pad. I was intrigued by the medical fleece underside, and was looking for something to keep my saddle secure. I can’t say enough good things for this pad. The fleece regulates temperature, and my sensitive grey seems to like the pressure distribution. My saddle does not move. I love that the pad is shimmable, and comes with a mesh inner layer, and a memory foam layer. I removed the memory foam layer as my saddle was fitted without extra padding, but the options to add or remove as needed is great! I can’t speak to how the pad will wash or how durable it is yet, as I’ve only had it for a couple of months, but I’m so impressed so far, and wouldn’t hesitate to add more to my collection.
