How thick is the Secure Dressage Pad? The seat area has 0.5″ thick foam. Once you put the saddle on, it conforms to your horse’s back.

Best saddle pad ever! I literally got rid of hundreds of dollars worth of other specialty pads with claims of improved performance. This pad performs! Absolutely no slipping – either between pad and horse, or between pad and saddle. So, no more friction bumps on my horse or hair being pulled out. The saddle stays exactly where I put it, even during the occasional dramatic unsolicited dance moves! Cleaning is the easiest; usually just a hosing off, with a machine wash every now and then. This pad has been used 4-5 days a week for nearly two years and it looks brand new – zero wear!! Thank you, Ecogold!
